Baseball fans watching the World Series on Monday night saw the gap between the two teams widen further as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1. The victory gives Milwaukee a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and extends their postseason winning streak to eight games.

The Brewers recorded 16 hits in the contest, generating 10 runs. The Rays managed only three hits and one run, which came in the ninth inning. Through the first eight innings, Tampa Bay had recorded a single hit and no runs. This performance marks the longest winning streak in Major League Baseball postseason history, surpassing the previous record of seven games set by the 1976 Cincinnati Reds.

Jackson Chourio, the 22-year-old outfielder, was the central figure in the Milwaukee attack. He reached base in all four of his at-bats, recording two singles and one double. His double in the fifth inning arrived during a scoring burst that saw the Brewers add eight runs. Chourio finished the game with four hits, two runs, and one run batted in. He also stole a base, marking his third stolen base of the World Series.

With four hits, Chourio became the youngest player to record a four-hit game in the World Series since Joe Garagiola in 1946. He is batting .571 in the series, with eight hits in 14 at-bats. He has also hit two home runs and stolen three bases in the postseason. His defense was active as well, contributing to the Brewers' strong fielding performance.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy noted that Chourio is developing into a complete player, comparing his work ethic and discipline to that of basketball legend Kobe Bryant. Murphy said the team is not surprised by Chourio's production, citing his steady improvement over the ages of 20 to 22. Chourio signed a contract with the Brewers that runs through the 2031 season, with two additional club options extending his tenure through 2033.

The Rays have struggled to find offense in this series. They scored four runs in the first inning of Game 2 but failed to score again in that 5-4 loss. Since that initial outburst, the team has been held to a single run. The Brewers now hold a commanding 3-0 lead, and a win in Game 4 would secure their eighth consecutive victory.
